Killeen: Firefighters rescue dog home alone during fire

KILLEEN, Texas (KWTX) Fire crews responded to a small structure fire Sunday afternoon at 1401 Goode Drive in Killeen.

Crews arrived on scene around 4:30 pm and put the fire out within 20 minutes.

No one was home and no injuries were reported.

A dog was rescued and had no injuries, either.

Police say the fire left the sole owner displaced.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

No other information was readily available.
