Killeen: City ranked the most patriotic in Texas

KILLEEN, Texas Insurify on Thursday released its list of the most patriotic cities in every state and Killeen received the top honor in the Lone Star State.

The honor is bestowed on city's with "the greatest share of citizens who have risked their lives in the service of our nation," Insurify said.

Insurify said more than 20 million veterans live in the U.S. in addition to the more than 1.3 million active duty members.

The insurance company identified a city in each state with the highest percentage of active service members and veterans.
