Lampasas: Boil order lifted

LAMPASAS, Texas (KWTX) A boil order that forced Lampasas schools to provide bottled water for students and staff was lifted Wednesday.

The order was issued Monday “due to the presence of contaminants or interruption in service,” the city said.

Corrective measures were taken and water no longer needs to be boiled before consumption, the city said.

The Lampasas ISD notified students, staff and parents Monday evening that arrangements had been made to supply drinking water to each of its campuses.
