Local crews respond after limb hits electrical box, starts house fire

HARKER HEIGHTS, Texas (KWTX) Harker Heights firefighters responded Tuesday after a tree limb downed by the wind hit an electrical box and started a fire.

The fire was reported at around 1:10 p.m. Tuesday in the 1400 block of South Roy Reynolds Drive.

No one was home at the time.

Crews extinguished the fire within about 10 minutes.

Smoke and water damage was contained to the attic.

No one was hurt.
