BELTON, Texas (KWTX) Students at a Belton high school were moved to “a safe area” after a bomb threat Friday afternoon, police said in a brief post.
A sweep of the campus turned up nothing suspicious, however, authorities said just after 2:30 p.m. Friday.
The threat was received earlier Friday at New Tech High School at 320 North Blair St. in Belton.
“The scene is secure and students have been moved to a safe area. A dog will help sweep the area to make sure it is safe,” police said
No further details were released.
