Local man buys scratch-off ticket worth $1,000 a week for 20 years

WACO, Texas (KWTX) A Waco man has claimed a top prizewinning lottery scratch off ticket worth $1,000 a week for the next 20 years.

Jose David Monge Villatoro bought the winning Weekly Grand ticket at the Lake Air Food Market at 701 Lake Air Drive.

He chose the cash value option and will receive a lump sum payment of $924,021.68, the Texas Lottery said in a press release Thursday.

He’s the second person to claim one of the five top prizes in the game.
