Killeen: Middle school student arrested after school threat

KILLEEN, Texas (KWTX) Killeen police arrested a local middle school student Monday after he made a threat against a school.

Police were advised of the unspecified threat at around 7:45 a.m. Monday against Nolan Middle School, KISD spokeswoman Taina Maya said.

The student attends Palo Alto Middle School.

Killeen and Killeen ISD police secured the campus as they investigated the threat, which they determined was unfounded.

“Our students and staff were never in any danger,” Maya said.

The student was arrested late Monday morning.

He was taken to a juvenile detention facility.

He’s facing a terroristic threat charge.
