Man accused in deadly local shooting, kidnapping indicted

KILLEEN, Texas (KWTX) Bryan Jamal Dunn, 25, who was arrested after an incident in October in Killeen in which a man was shot to death and a woman was forced into a car at gunpoint was indicted for murder Wednesday.

Dunn remains in the Bell County Jail in lieu of $1 million bond

Luis Eddie Cosme, 48, died in the shooting, which was reported at around 9 p.m. on Oct. 30, 2019 at a home in the 2100 block of Reese Creek Road.

Cosme, a veteran, tried to intervene in a fight between the woman and a man identified as Dunn.

Dunn, from Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling in Washington, D.C., is accused of shooting Cosme to death, forcing the woman into his car at gunpoint and driving away from the scene.

Police say Dunn and the woman were later found in Round Rock.
