BELTON, Texas (KWTX) A Central Texas man remained behind bars Monday, charged with one count of robbery in connection with a holdup at a local CVS store from which prescription drugs were taken.

Joseph Knowles, 21, is held in lieu of $100,000 bond.

According to Belton police Knowles walked into the CVS Pharmacy in the 2800 block of North Main Street on Aug. 12 and handed the pharmacy worker a note demanding prescription drugs.
