Rogers: Man opens bogus account, deposits forged checks, makes withdrawals

ROGERS, Texas (KWTX) Bell County sheriff’s investigators are looking for a man who opened an account at a bank in Rogers under a false name, deposited forged checks, and then used an ATM to make cash withdrawals.

The Bell County Sheriff’s Department released surveillance photos of the man Wednesday.

He was driving a blue Dodge four-door pickup with a chrome, diamond-finished toolbox in the bed.

Investigators are asking anyone with information to call the Bell County Sheriff’s Department Criminal Investigations Division at (254) 933-5435 during business hours or at (254) 933-5412 after hours.
