Meth distribution probe leads to arrest of Central Texas man

BELL COUNTY, Texas (KWTX) An investigation of the distribution of large quantities of methamphetamine in Bell County led to one arrest and the seizure of meth, paraphernalia, and a firearm.

The Bell County Organized Crime Unit executed a search warrant Tuesday at a home in the 4300 block of Mulberry Drive and seized 30 grams of methamphetamine.

Gordon Verge, 40, of Belton was arrested in the raid.

He remained in the Bell County Jail Thursday in lieu of $75,000 bond charged with possession of a controlled substance in an amount more than 4 grams, but less than 200 grams.
