DETROIT, Michigan (KWTX) The U.S. Marshals Service asked for the public’s help Tuesday in the search for a woman wanted for the murder of her boyfriend.

Tamera Renee Williams, 39, is named in a warrant issued on Dec. 20 charging first-degree homicide, disinterring a body and tampering with evidence in the Sept. 29, 2018 murder of David Carter, 39, in Melvindale, Mich.

She should be considered armed and dangerous, authorities said.

Williams has worked in the medical field and as a travel agent, is a world traveler, has ties throughout the U.S., and is closely involved with the Order of the Eastern Star, authorities said Tuesday.

“No matter where a fugitive may try to flee or hide, we will pursue them, find them and bring them to justice,” said acting U.S. Marshal for the Eastern District of Michigan Mark Jankowski.

Investigators are asking anyone with information to call the U.S. Marshals 24-hour tip line at (313) 234-5600.
