Fort Hood: PX evacuated after discovery of suspicious package

FORT HOOD, Texas (KWTX) Fort Hood officials said no threat was found Wednesday evening after a suspicious package prompted the evacuation of a post exchange.

Authorities said Fort Hood's military police were informed around 5 p.m. the package was at the Clear Creek Post Exchange.

Patrols responded immediately and evacuated the building.

Officials said the box's content did not pose a threat to personnel or the building.

They didn't say what the box contained.
