KILLEEN, Texas (KWTX) A wanted Central Texas man who police earlier said was “armed and dangerous and has gang affiliations” was in custody Monday, police said in a Facebook post.

Carnelle Green, 29, was wanted in Killeen for a parole violation on a drug possession charge and for unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.

He was located and arrested with help from the U.S. Marshal’s Service Fugitive Task Force, but police provide no further details of the arrest.

Police first asked for the public’s help in the search for Green in October 2018 and they issued a new appeal for information last week.
