Police investigate shooting, possible victim dropped off at hospital

WACO, Texas (KWTX) Waco police were trying to determine Friday morning if the man dropped off at a hospital with a gunshot wound is the victim in a shooting at a home.

Sgt. Patrick Swanton said officers were called out to a home in the 3100 block of Fadal Street and when they arrived they found a home and car that had been sprayed with bullets.

Officers also found multiple shell casings and blood evidence at the scene, Swanton said.

Ten minutes after the initial call, police got reports that a man was dropped off at the hospital by several people who then left.

Daquaylon Johnson, 20, was shot in the upper torso and was in critical but stable condition.

Swanton said they believe Johnson was the victim in the shooting on Fadal Street.
