Jets speak to Matt Rhule about coaching vacancy, report says

WACO, Texas (KWTX) Matt Rhule has spoken to the New York Jets about their head coach opening according to a report from CBS Sports.

Jason La Canfora says the Jets spoke to Rhule Monday in between interviews with NFL assistant coaches.

On Sunday, the Jets spoke to Cowboys' defensive coach Chris Richard about their opening. They will also speak to the Bucs' offensive coordinator.

In between they've spoken to Matt Rhule of Baylor.

Rhule has been with the Bears for two seasons now and took them from one win in his first year to seven this past season and a bowl game win over Vanderbilt.
