Reward increased in 1994 disappearance of young Texas mother

AUSTIN, Texas (KWTX) The reward was increased to $6,000 Monday for information leading to an arrest in the disappearance of a young Texas mother in 1994.

Rena Rincones was last seen on June 1, 1994 leaving her parents’ home in Falfurrias, evidently to visit a home in the Premont area in neighboring Jim Wells County.

Her father reported her missing on March 13, 1995.

Rincones was married and had a 1-year-old daughter.

Investigators think she’s dead, but her body has never been recovered.
