HARKER HEIGHTS, Texas (KWTX) Security was stepped up Friday at Skipcha Elementary School at 515 Prospector Trail in Harker Heights after a student told officials that a stranger had threatened to abduct him from the campus, according to a message sent to parents from the school’s principal, Jane Apodaca.

“The alleged threat transpired at approximately 10:45 am on Thursday near the playground area,” Apodaca said in the message.

“I investigated the report and have a police presence at the campus today as a precautionary measure.”
