TEMPLE, Texas (KWTX) A shooting early Friday in Temple sent one person to a local hospital and police say the suspect should be considered “armed and dangerous.”

The shooting was reported near Jones Park in the 1100 block of West Avenue H.

The unidentified victim was taken to Scott & White Medical Center with what police said were non-life-threatening injuries.

Authorities think a white Chevrolet Cruze with Texas license LHB 2423 may be linked to the shooting.

“Do not approach. The subject is believed to be armed and dangerous,” police said in a press release.
