FORT HOOD, Texas Veterans Day isn't until November, but getting ready for it is already underway.

For two years Patty Aquiningoc has been making mini-wreaths for the cremated veterans at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery.

Wednesday soldiers from the 166th aviation brigade volunteered to help out, and she's happy to get the help.

"With more walls being built at the cemetery, the small wreaths are gonna grow" Aquiningoc said. "I've been doing this for two years at my house, so I'm very overwhelmed with this and very appreciative that they stepped in to help."

Two thousand mini wreaths will be put on display in November, just in time for Veterans Day.
