KILLEEN, Texas (KWTX) Killeen officers recovered stolen guns and property, marijuana and arrested a man and a woman following an early-morning traffic stop over the weekend, police said Monday.

The two suspects were not immediately identified.

Officers attempted to pull over a Scion at around 1:25 a.m. Sunday after spotting the vehicle weaving in and out of traffic in the 3400 block of East Central Texas Expressway, police spokesman Ofelia Miramontez said in a press release Monday.

Near Goode circle, the man driving the Scion slowed, jumped out and ran to the west while the woman stayed in the vehicle, she said.

Officers captured the man near the Killeen Mall.

The two were taken to the Killeen City Jail.

Further details weren’t released Monday.
