IRVING, Texas (KWTX) Irving-based Stripes Stores Monday unveiled three limited-edition cups commemorating the “Queen of Cumbia,” Selena.
The first of the three cups will go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday.
"Selena is such an inspiration to our customers and her fans. We look forward to bringing all three of these beautifully designed, high-quality Selena cups to our customers,” said 7-Eleven (Stripes) Senior Vice President, Brad Williams.
The company worked with Selena’s sister, Suzette Quintanilla, to create the three designs for the collection.

Selena was shot to death in 1995 in Corpus Christi.
Her former friend and business associate, Yolanda Saldivar, is serving a life sentenced in a state prison unit in Gatesville.
Previous editions of cups commemorating the slain singer have sold out quickly.
