HOUSTON, Texas (CNN) A Texas A&M student caught what most of would call a "picture perfect moment," an encounter we would likely not have seen a little more than a week ago.

Republican Texas Senator Ted Cruz and Democratic Texas Congressman Beto O'Rourke bumped into each other during a chance encounter at a Houston airport this week.

They reportedly exchanged kind words and discussed how they could "move forward," after Cruz beat O'Rourke in the most expensive senate race in U.S. history.

Student Tiffany Easter posed with them and posted the encounter on social media.

"Beto noticed Cruz sitting down and walked over to congratulate him on his reelection and campaign," Easter wrote in her post.

Easter said she was in awe of the humility the two showed, and added, "this is America. This is good."
