Candice Pliscott of China Spring and Brinley Darling, Gabrielle Rockford and Elize Fuselier all of whom attend Reicher High School will also perform.
Richardson is captain of the Temple High School Kitten Dance Team, where she first started formally dancing four years ago.
She competed a solo at an American Dance Contest this in February with the Kittens.
She received a division one score for her solo, which landed her a spot on the Spirit of America dance team, which performs in the Thanksgiving parade every year.
Richardson says she has always loved the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
"I watch the parade, me and my family have, for as long as I can remember," Richardson said.
"The performance I really like to watch each year is the dancers and the cheerleaders and also the Rangerettes. I love when they come perform in the parade," Richardson said.
This is her first trip to New York City, she says the team has been sightseeing since they arrived over the weekend.
"I learned a little bit about the history of New York and went to go see all the different sites like the Statue of Liberty in the Brooklyn Bridge," Richardson said.
The team will spend the week rehearsing before the performance Thursday morning.
"I think what I'm most excited about is that we get to bring in Santa this year so at the very end of the parade," Richardson said.
