Temple: Police investigate string of vehicle burglaries

TEMPLE, Texas (KWTX) Temple police Monday released surveillance images of a suspect wanted in connection with a string of vehicle break-ins that occurred between 4 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. on Aug. 13.

Three vehicles were broken into at Gold’s Gym at 4501 South General Bruce Dr., one at the McLane Company at 2828 Industrial Blvd., and one at Planet Fitness at 3111 South 31st St.

The thief or thieves stole cash, credit and debit cards, a smart phone and personal IDs.

The stolen debit cards were later used to make fraudulent purchases, police said.

Police believe the three are related.

Reports indicate the suspect and a black Buick Lacrosse was at the scene of each burglary.
