TEMPLE, Texas (KWTX) Temple police released surveillance photos Wednesday of a woman wanted in a check forgery case in which about $5,000 was stolen on Sept. 17.

“The suspect used two fraudulent checks to retrieve money at two different locations, one of which was a Texell in Temple,” police spokesman Chris Christoff said.

The forgeries were reported on Monday after the account holder discovered the two fraudulent checks.

Investigators are asking anyone with information to call either the Temple Police Department at (254) 298-5500 or Crime Stoppers at (254) 526-TIPS.
