Temple: Two arrested after chase on I-35 ends in crash

TEMPLE, Texas (KWTX) Two people were arrested after a chase on Interstate 35 ended in a crash Tuesday in Temple.

The chase started at around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday after a deputy tried to pull over a vehicle without front license plates for speeding.

The deputy lost sight of the vehicle, but then came up on an accident on the northbound interstate access road just before Gillmeister Lane involving the vehicle involved in the pursuit.

The driver and passenger ran after the crash, but were arrested.

The vehicle had been stolen in Austin.
