Temple: Woman arrested after stabbing that sent man to local hospital

TEMPLE, Texas (KWTX) Police arrested a 24-year-old woman after a stabbing Wednesday morning in Temple that sent a man to the hospital.

Officers responded just after 9:45 a.m. Wednesday to a home in the 500 block of South 29th St. where they found the man with a stab wound to the chest, police said.

The unidentified victim was taken to Scott & White Medical Center.

His injures weren’t life-threatening,” police spokesman Cody Weems said.

Officers arrested Mikayla Wofford, Weems said.

No further details about the arrest were released.

She's held in the Bell County Jail.

Her bond has not been set.
