TEMPLE, Texas (KWTX) To help prevent the spread of the Coronavirus, First Baptist Church in Temple live streamed its two morning services on Facebook Sunday so parishioners could still worship from the comfort and safety of their own homes.

"It was odd at first," said Pastor Evan Duncan.

"But I found the experience to this morning incredibly moving."

Around 20 people worked to deliver the two services.

"We adjusted a little bit of how we do the service to make it more easy to access online," Duncan said.

"We're grateful for our staff who's been doing this for a long time."

All church gatherings have been cancelled for next week. Duncan says that no matter the danger of Coronavirus or how limited the staff, the new normal will be an interesting challenge.

"I realize that it's gonna be different for us and the way we do things, but our mission of loving people and loving God hasn't changed."
