TEMPLE, Texas (KWTX) Temple needs its residents’ input as it develops a comprehensive plan for the next 10 years.

Tuesday, the city is inviting residents to the Gober Party House from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. to express what you want in the city.

Officials want to know what residents have to say about housing, neighborhood wants, transportation needs and other issues that will shape the city in the years ahead.

Residents who can't attend may also participate through an online survey.

"It's an interactive exhibit so there will be folks that will be floating around that you can talk to you and ask questions and will be there to give you some guidance, but generally it will be feedback in the form of placing stickers on a board in sections that you might like or maybe writing a word or two down on a sheet that's provided at a table," Assistant City Manager David Olsen said.

The meeting is two hours, but it only takes about 15 minutes to participate.
