Texas reports 715 COVID-19 cases, 11 deaths

AUSTIN, Texas (KWTX) Across the state Tuesday, 715 COVID-19 cases have been confirmed and the virus has claimed 11 lives, Gov. Greg Abbott said Tuesday afternoon.

The largest number of cases were concentrated in the state's largest counties including Bexar, Harris, Tarrant and Dallas counties.

McLennan County reported a total of 24 confirmed cases Tuesday.

Bell County was reporting 18.

In smaller area counties, two cases have been confirmed in Milam County, and one each in Robertson, Falls and Limestone counties.
