HARKER HEIGHTS, Texas (KWTX) Three teenagers were in custody Monday facing federal charges after an unsuccessful attempt early Saturday morning to steal an ATM from outside Chase Bank at 201 East Central Texas Expressway in Harker Heights.

Jesse Salomon Domingues, 19, Andre Omar Martin, 18, and Marcus Treyvion Woods, 18, all of Houston “could possibly be linked to numerous ATM Thefts throughout Texas,” police said in a press release Monday.

Officers responded to an alarm at the bank at 3 a.m. Saturday and when they arrived they found a Ford F-25 flatbed truck hooked up to the ATM with a large metal logging chain, police said in a press release Monday.

“The truck was still running, though unoccupied, and the chain attached to the damaged ATM was pulled tight,” police said.

The three teens were found on foot in the 200 block of Indian Oaks Drive.

The truck had been stolen from a Temple resident and has been returned to the owner, police said.
