Belton: Unique bra auction raises money for American Cancer Society

The Bras Over Broadway Bra Brunch in Belton raises money for the American Cancer Society.

BELTON, Texas (KWTX) What would make 19 men put on elaborate braziers and walk down a runway in front of a room full of screaming women?

It was the Bras Over Broadway Bra Brunch at the Bell County Expo Center.

The Bra Brunch is now in its seventh year, and it raises money to help the American Cancer Society fight breast cancer.

Guests including survivors and their loved ones were treated to a champagne brunch.

And the entertainment was men from the community putting on costumes and creative bras which were auctioned for charity.

This year's each bra was inspired by a Broadway musical.

News 10 This Morning's Pete Sousa modeled the Bra-Bra Streisand bra.

And News 10's 5 p.m. and Primetime anchor Justin Earley served as master of ceremonies for a fourth year.

The preliminary numbers show the event raised more than $43,000.
