Harker Heights: Woman arrested after officer hit with wine bottle

HARKER HEIGHTS, Texas (KWTX) A Harker Heights woman was jailed Tuesday after a local officer who responded to a fight between a mother and daughter was elbowed and struck with a wine bottle, police said.

While officers were attempting to quell the situation, the daughter assaulted an officer by elbowing, striking and hitting him with a wine bottle,” police said in a press release Tuesday.

Sidney Lock, 22, is charged with assault on a public servant, assault on a family member causing bodily injury and interference with an emergency call.

She was in the Bell County Jail Tuesday evening in lieu of bonds totaling $110,000.

Lock, who’s 5-foot-5 and weighs 115 pounds, according to online jail records was arrested Sunday night following the assault in the 100 block of East Iowa.
