Baylor softball plates two runs in seventh inning to stun Arkansas

Down by a run heading into the top of the seventh inning, the bats for No. 19 Baylor (15-2) came alive as the Lady Bears plated a pair of runs in the frame to earn a hard-fought 3-2 win at No. 21 Arkansas (12-3) Thursday night to open up the Wooo Pig Classic.

Madison Knox is a captain on the McGregor High School varsity softball team, so she's a leader among her peers.

Kyle Nevin had three hits, and Midway product Will Rigney pitched three scoreless innings to help the Baylor Bears to a 2-0 win over the UT-Rio Grande Valley Vaqueros Wednesday afternoon.

No. 2 Baylor bounced back in a big way from its first Big 12 loss. Matt Mayer had a season-high 19 points to lead five players in double figures as the Bears never trailed in an 85-66 win over Kansas State.
