Baylor junior guard DiDi Richards swept the nation’s highest defensive honors, taking home the 2020 Naismith Defensive Player of the Year Award Wednesday after winning the WBCA’s Defensive Player of the Year on Monday.

Regardless of the opponent, the No. 4 Baylor Bears have relied on a defensive mentality against teams ranked in the Top 25 this season, and it could be another low-scoring game Saturday against the No. 3 Kansas Jayhawks.
