Police make arrest in weekend shooting that left local man dead

TEMPLE, Texas (KWTX) – Police have made an arrest in a weekend shooting in Temple that left a man dead.

Seth Richards, 21, of Temple, was in the Bell County Jail Wednesday charged with murder.

His bond is set at $200,000.

He’s charged in the shooting death of Clayton Pratt, 30.

Officers found Pratt at around 7 p.m. Sunday in the 300 block of North 6th Street.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators arrested Richards at around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday at a home in the 600 block of North 8th Street in Temple.
