Ramen restaurant begs for ‘hot noods’ from customers on OnlyFans
HOUSTON (KHOU) - A Houston ramen restaurant is taking a unique approach to attract more customers by asking for “hot noods” – or noodles – on OnlyFans.
Christopher Huang, the owner of Ninja Ramen, says his business has been struggling post-COVID. So, he started an OnlyFans account in an effort to save the restaurant and Japanese whiskey bar.
OnlyFans is a subscription website in which creators primarily produce adult-leaning content.
“Send me pictures of you eating our hot noods,” Huang posted on social media.
The request for “noods,” as in noodles, is a play on modern lingo in which people may ask for “nudes,” as in nude pictures, from their love interests.
To be clear, Huang says he only wants photos of people eating noodles from Ninja Ramen, not adult content.
“I wanted to start an OnlyFans and say, ‘Hey, we’re gonna post our noods’ and just pictures of people being creative with their noodles. Just a fun way of engaging. It’s not trying to be too crazy,” Huang said.
Despite the fun way he’s promoting his restaurant, Huang says he’s very serious about saving it. He has a multi-step plan that goes beyond OnlyFans and includes slashing prices on the restaurant’s Asian whiskies for a limited time, adding a new cocktail menu and hosting more events.
