Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick announces senators who will serve on Select Committee on Disaster Preparedness and Flooding

AUSTIN, Texas (KWTX) - Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick announced the senators who will serve on the Senate Select Committee on Disaster Preparedness and Flooding.

The Select Committee will include:

• Sen. Charles Perry, R-Lubbock, Chairman
• Sen. Pete Flores, R-Pleasanton, Vice Chair
• Sen. Paul Bettencourt, R-Houston
• Sen. César Blanco, D-El Paso
• Sen. Donna Campbell, R-New Braunfels
• Sen. Adam Hinojosa, R-Corpus Christi
• Sen. Lois Kolkhorst, R-Brenham
• Sen. José Menéndez, D-San Antonio
• Sen. Charles Schwertner, R-Georgetown

The first hearing will be in Austin on July 23 and the second will take place the following week in Kerrville on July 31, to give residents an opportunity to have their voices heard.
