COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KWTX) - A brawl in the Northgate Bar District led police to a bloodied man, narcotics inside an apartment unit and the eventual arrests of six individuals.

College Station Police Officers responded to the 300 block of Boyett Street over the weekend to investigate reports of a fight in the alleyway between an apartment building and a bar in the Northgate Bar District.

Upon arrival, an officer located a group of individuals in the immediate area of the disturbance and attempted to speak with them.

The group refused to cooperate by running away and locking themselves inside an apartment within the building, police said.

As additional officers arrived, a woman began yelling vulgarities at officers from a third-floor window of the same apartment.

Several individuals were contacted outside or after exiting the unit, including a man observed with multiple lacerations and covered in blood.

Out of concern that someone inside may have been seriously injured or in need of medical attention, the police officers forced entry into the apartment.

Three individuals were removed from the residence, and officers observed narcotics and drug paraphernalia in plain view throughout the unit.

A narcotics search warrant was obtained, signed by a judge, and executed by night shift patrol officers.
