Mexia ISD announces finalist for superintendent

MEXIA, Texas (KWTX) - Mexia ISD announced the selection of Mr. Brad Andrews as the Lone Finalist for Superintendent.

Andrews has served as the Interim Superintendent since October 2025 and joined Mexia ISD in 2021.

“Mr. Andrews has led the district with focus on unity and a strong supportive community, as well as student success, and a clear vision for excellence,” the district says.

After the 21-day waiting period, Andrews will officially be hired as MISD’s Superintendent, the district says.
