Grunge-era radio stars Candlebox performing at Brazos Nights in Waco

WACO, Texas (KWTX) - Candlebox, a popular alternative rock band during the grunge era, is performing at Brazos Nights on Friday, April 17.

“The iconic Seattle rock band helped define the ’90s grunge era with massive hits like Far Behind and You. With more than four million records sold and decades of unforgettable live shows, Candlebox is still rocking crowds arounds the world,” an announcement on the Brazos Nights Facebook page states.

Candlebox formed in 1990 and its self-titled debut sold more than four million copies, according to the Recording Industry Association of America.

The band’s hit single, “Far Behind” peaked at at #18 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1994 and spent nearly a year on the chart.

Brazos Nights said it will announce more artists soon.
