Connally ISD teacher on leave after report of inappropriate relationship with student

LACY LAKEVIEW, Texas (KWTX) - A Connally ISD teacher has been placed on administrative leave after a report of a potential inappropriate relationship with a student.
Connally ISD said administrators received the report Thursday afternoon.
The district said the teacher was pulled out of the classroom right away. Lacy Lakeview police are now in charge of the investigation.
Under Texas law, Connally ISD said the teacher is on administrative leave and will be dismissed once the school board takes formal action.
The district said it will keep working with investigators and is urging anyone with concerns to report them through the Safe Cadets tip line.
