Max Alfonso

I’m from the real Queen City Cincinnati Ohio, specifically the west side of Cincinnati (people are tougher from this part). I grew up around Cincinnati sports my entire life and it started my fandom of the Reds, Bengals and Xavier. Which has led to a lot of disappointment in my life. But it hasn’t changed my love for the city.

For college, I went north to the University of Toledo and graduated in May 2025 with a BA in media communication. My first year at Toledo, I wrote for the school newspaper and developed a love for writing and journalism, leading me to take a newscast class senior year.

I’ve spent my entire life vacationing to Ocean Isle Beach, so I have been around the area before. It’s a little weird being down here, and there are no pro sports around me, but I can adjust!
