McLennan grand jury indicts man for online solicitation of a minor

A Waco man was named in an indictment Wednesday that charges him with online solicitation of a minor that involved what he thought was a 15-year-old local girl.
Woodway police arrested Aron Lee Teague at around 7 p.m. on Aug. 23 after an undercover officer posing as a 15-year-old girl exchanged sexually explicit online messages about wanting to meet, police said.
Woodway Department of Public Safety Assistant Director Larry Adams said Teague, 27, made the initial contact through a social media account and followed that up with sexually explicit messages.
The officers running the sting arranged to meet Teague in Woodway Park the evening of Aug. 23 and when he arrived, they arrested him.
