Truck-car crash sends 1 to local hospital, dumps lumber on highway

A collision between a car and an 18-wheeler Tuesday morning in Bellmead sent a woman to a local hospital and left a load of lumber on a busy highway.
The accident happened on East Loop 340 near Orchard Lane.
The woman who was injured was driving the car.
Information about her injuries wasn’t immediately available.
The driver of the truck wasn’t injured.
Officers were diverting traffic around the accident site.
