WACO, Texas (KWTX) The Historically Black Colleges and Universities Community Fair took place Saturday afternoon at the Waco Multi-Purpose building, which formerly housed the Paul Quinn College campus.

The event was put on by the Rapoport Academy Public School as hundreds of students learned about financial aid, college classes, and about admission requirements to multiple HBCUs.

"They're also learning exactly what you need to do in your senior year, junior year, sophomore year, and freshman year to prepare you," says AKA Waco President Connie Nichols.

Classes were available on ACT/SAT testing info, FASFA, and on money management.
