Weekend crash leaves one Texas A&M student dead, another injured

A weekend accident in College Station left a Texas A&M senior dead and a second student injured.
Nathan Matos, 22, of New Jersey, died in the two-vehicle crash Saturday afternoon.
He was a history major and a member of the Texas A&M Corps of Cadets, KBTX in Bryan reported.
A 22-year old A&M student from Dallas whose name was not released was injured.
Police said one vehicle was southbound on Wellborn Road approaching Holleman Drive when it left the roadway and struck a second vehicle on Holleman Drive whose driver was waiting to turn.
Both vehicles were heavily damaged.
A third A&M student, who was driving the vehicle that left the road, was treated for minor injuries and was later released from a local medical facility, KBTX reported.
The accident is under investigation.
